Titus presents the 5.3 Low Lites Truck - featuring Bones Hardcore Bushings!

Based on what we've learned from our renowned "High Lites" truck, our design team has finally released the updated "Low Lites" model! The construction of the Low Lites truck integrates the durable and lightweight design, responsive hanger geometry, and quality hardware components of the high predecessor into a design that can't be beat for skaters who prefer a low truck.

The 5.3 Low Lites Truck "low design" offers more precision control and stability than a "high" truck, which is often preferred by more technical street skaters. The distance of the board from the ground is reduced which gives your setup a faster pop time, not to mention the fact that low trucks are just smaller than highs, meaning the truck naturally weighs less than a larger high truck.

Outstanding turning performance is guaranteed by the 5.3 Low Lites with the help of Bones Hardcore Bushings with a medium hardness. These bushings are regarded as the best on the market as they contain a performance "cored" design that makes the hanger rebound to a straight position immediately after weight is taken off the truck during a turn. They are coupled with a lightweight hollow kingpin that's purposefully designed to sit much lower than the hanger to prevent it from hanging up during grinds. The hanger has slanted edges where it meets the axle to prevent the hanger from digging into your bearings or wheels after the hanger has been thoroughly grinded down. Finally, the baseplate was designed with a super durable yet lightweight design with stylish Lites logo engravings.

The 5.3 Low Lites model is recommended for decks between 8" and 8.375" wide.

Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.
