Element: Wind, Water, Fire and Earth.
Element Skateboards makes clothes for guys and girls as well as skateboard hardware or accessories like backpacks. The company’s roots go back to the year 1992. Johnny Schillereff founded a company called Underworld Element. The label had a very East Coast vibe and included tons of street skating legends like Julien Stranger, Jefferson Pang, Erik Pupecki and Pepe Martinez. The company was unfortunately very short-lived.
The decline of Underworld marked the start of a new era which would end up having a long term effect on the skateboard and streetwear world. Schillereff reinvented his brand image and designed his iconic tree logo, which was meant to represent his label’s connection to nature and its positive attitude. The brand belongs to Billabong since 2002.
Element: A Respected Member of the Industry
Element has really earned a name for themselves over the years thanks to their high-quality, innovative products and their cool t-shirt and skateboard graphics. The support of talent like Ray Barbee, Natas Kaupas, Donny Barley, Jeremy Wray, Chad Muska, Mark Appleyard, Bam Margera or Nyjah Huston has led to Element skateboard decks becoming an established label. Every skater knows Element, period.
Element Streetwear: Unique Looks and a Tree Logo
Element decks, trucks, wheels and bearings all include their tree logo, which is instantly recognizable to millions of people worldwide. Element shoes and t-shirts are also super famous these days. Their collections have long featured classic “skate shirt” designs. In addition to ever-popular shirts with the Tree Logo, “Wind, Water, Earth, Fire” or “Listen to Bob Marley”, the brand has many other unique, interesting designs. Guys and girls alike have a wide variety of styles and individual silhouettes to choose from. Even outside of skating, Element is known as a stylish streetwear brand as well and can be found in tons of stores all over the globe. Element: Power to the Planet!
