The Makia Fishtail is a lightweight parka, perfect for confused weather patterns and between-season outfits. The design crew from Helsinki knows exactly what bad weather looks like - and not just in the dead of winter, either - and therefore can be trusted to whip up a jacket that's both dripping in Scandinavian style and also full of features perfect for unpleasant Scandinavian climates. This parka includes a spacious hood with drawstrings and clip closures at the ends of the hem, a high collar, a full-length, covered front zipper and an embedded drawstring at the waistline so you can tighten and loosen your jacket to fit you perfectly.

Of course, the Makia Fishtail isn't just functional, but also powerfully stylish. Detailing such as epaulettes, elbow patches and a swallow tail opening at the back give this jacket its cool, vaguely militaristic aesthetic. For a perfect ventilation system, the shoulder area is lined with mesh, and two large pockets on the front and another one with a button at the chest take care of storage room. Metal accents on the drawstrings, printed, wooden buttons and subtle faux-leather logo patches top the Fishtail Parka off fantastically.

Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.
