Trusted by the world's best skaters, Indy's are known for their incredible longevity and strength. The 149 model is ideal for decks between 8.25" and 8.65" wide and has an 8.5" wide axle.

The 149 Truck has a "high" design. The Stage 11 axle geometry is the latest and greatest from Indy. This design features a slightly lowered kingpin that resists hanging up during grinds and a "no hang-up yoke" hanger to help prevent coping hang-ups.

Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Ein Klassiker und auch für den Einstieg super

Ja, man kann sagen was man will, aber ich komme immer wieder auf die Indies zurück. Sie halten viel aus und ja auch wenn sie etwas schwerer sind und made in China (muss ja nicht schlecht sein) machen sie trotzdem einen sehr guten Job. Gerade für den Einstieg sind sie sehr robust und haben ein gutes Lenkverhalten.

Besten Achsen

Für mich die besten Achsen ever, alles schon ausprobiert. Lenkverhalten super und halten ewig.

Zurecht ein Klassiker

Well its indy

I love me some independent trucks.. I mean it's a classic. Turns nice grinds nice and buttery.. lots and lots of meat to grind and strong as hell. If there is only one thing to pick on this truck would be.. it's abit on the heavy side just something to keep in mind when you buy them.

Great and iconic trucks, but very tall

All around the go to trucks for most skaters and definitely for a reason. However as more of a tech skater personally I find them to be a little tall while skating rails.
