The Bones 96A Harcore Hard Set Bushings Set incl. washers are THE bushings to put into your trucks. They are more durable and turn better and more smoothly than any standard bushing. These hard bushings offer a stable riding behavior and are the perfect choice for any street deck or cruiser.

The special construction (featuring a hard inlay connected to the bushing) ensures that the bushing stays precisely in the correct position during turns, which is directly on the kingpin. With standard bushings, the stressed side of the bushing gets pushed towards the kingpin during turns, which causes the opposite side to lose contact to the kingpin. This affects your turning behavior in a way that your turns will feel less smooth. The hard inlay of these bushings avoid this effect.
The bushing set comes with matching washers, so a perfect fit of the bushings is ensured.

Riser pads are used to increase the distance between the wheels and the deck in order to prevent undesirable contact between the wheels and the deck (wheel bites) when turning.

Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Bones bushings

Habe die bushings gegen meine standard bushings in meinen independent ausgetauscht. Spürbar härter, trotzdem sehr angenehm Lenkverhalten. Leider ist schon nach 2 Monaten (10h á Woche) ein oberer bushing gebrochen.
Gibt's sicherlich stabilere...

Mal im Ernst: es sind die besten Gummis.
Nehmt nur trotzdem bitte Unterlegscheiben dazu - sonst sind die schnell durchgerockt.

Bones Bushings

Ich kann mich über die Bushings echt nicht beschweren. Bei mir knarzt bisher nichts und ich mag ein etwas strafferes Lenkverhalten.
Für mich hält es das, was es verspricht.

Top Bushings

Ich habe sie auf meine Independent Achsen geschraubt ,weil mir die originalen Bushings viel zu weich sind.
Für mich gibt es jetzt keines Alternative mehr zu den Hard Bones.
Ich stehe jetzt viel stabiler auf dem Brett und habe ein deutlich kontrollierteres Lenkverhalten, das hat mir das erlernen von Tricks , und das Fahren in der Bowl erleichtert.

Nach wenigen Tagen defekt

So wie auch die Medium bushings, sind diese hier nach wenigen Tagen geplatzt und waren somit nicht mehr zu gebrauchen. Werde absofort bei den Standard bushings meiner Achsen bleiben.
