The Bones Swiss Bearings have been specifically developed for the sole purpose of skateboarding. These high-end bearings combine the renowned technology of Bones' Skate Rated design with Swiss high-precision manufacturing.

The bearings feature removable, non-contact rubber shields and high-speed nylon ball retainers. This design not only means less friction and higher speeds, it also makes the bearings very easy to dismantle for cleaning and maintenance purposes and that, of course, guarantees durability far greater than regular ABEC rated bearings.

Trucks

Information about the correct skateboard truck width:

All truck manufacturers provide their trucks in different size charts. For an 8" deck, you can use an Independent 139", a Thunder 147", or a Titus 5.3" truck. To determine which truck fits perfectly under your deck, consult the size chart. The length of the truck axle should ideally match the width of the deck. Trucks should not be wider than the deck itself whenever possible. When in doubt, you can simply follow our recommendations for the appropriate deck width when choosing your trucks.

Truck Height:

Truck height is measured from the baseplate to the center of the axle. There are three different types of truck constructions that primarily differ in their height:

Low trucks provide a more direct board feel due to their lower center of gravity but should only be used with wheels up to 53mm to avoid wheel bite.

Mid trucks are the standard when it comes to truck height.

High trucks offer a wider turning angle due to their additional height.

Viele Jahre lang habe ich gezögert und mich gefragt, ob sich der hohe Preis tatsächlich lohnt. Aber nun weiß ich: Ja, die Lager sind den Preis wert und ich möchte nichts anderes mehr fahren!

So far so good

I’ve ridden lots of different bearings and the true mark of any bearing is always in it’s longevity and how they hold up over time. All bearings feel good when they are just out of the box. So far not ridden them enough to see how that supposed superior quality works out over time but like any bearing they are fast and smooth out of the box. If they turn out to be better than the Super Reds which are the best longterm bearing I’ve ridden then they will be golden. Everyone raves about the Swiss and people have had the same set for years. We’ll see.

Pricey but the best bearings I've ever tried

Definitely the best bearings I've ever had, ridden a pair for almost 2 years and they were still going strong. Don't pop the shield and they will stay crisp way longer. Only bearings I've ever tried where I had to get used to just how fast they were.

Best bearings ever !

I tried many bearings but Swiss Bones are the only I don't break easily ! It's worth the price !
