Skateboard decks made in Europe
It was the Iraolas, a family from the Basque country, who arguably laid the foundation for quality skateboard production in Europe. Already anchored in the wood industry, the idea of producing skateboard decks wasn’t much of a stretch for them. In 2001, brothers Igor, Iban and Ander founded Jart Skateboards. Since then, skateboard decks have been diligently pressed in the tranquil village of Irun. At the time, this was a real novelty as the US market was clearly the pioneer. The action paid off and gave not only the Iraolas and the Basque Country a piece of independence, but also the European skate scene as a whole.
First-class quality thanks to single-press production
To be able to offer consistent quality, Jart decks are manufactured using a single-deck press. This is to prevent deviations of the concave or shape of decks they produce. Premium American maple wood ensures the strength and pop you expect from a Jart deck. Whether you’re looking for a low, medium or high concave deck, you can find it from Jart Skateboards!

Looking for a sustainably produced deck? Look no further than Jart! The decks are made exclusively from American maple wood from a controlled tree cultivation process. In the Basque country where the Jart production facility is located, recycling and sustainability is an absolute must.
