Foundation Skateboards: Decks from San Diego

Tod Swank, the 80s pro skater, founded Foundation Skateboards in 1989 with the support of Steve Rocco. The company worked under Roccos World Industries for two years before Swank took over the label in 1991 and put together a genuine street skate team. Foundation Skateboards is now an official part of Tum Yeto Distribution, who also have Toy Machine, Dekline and Habitat in their portfolio.

Foundation: Videos and Graphics

Throughout the past decade, Swank has made sure that his label enjoys the same cult-like respect as always thanks to excellent, creative board  graphics and tons of important skate videos like WTF!, That’s Life and Nervous Breakdown.

Foundation: Still Skater Owned and Operated!
