Foundation Skateboards: tavole da skate originarie di San Diego

Nel 1989 Tod Swank, skater Pro degli anni 80, fondò con l’aiuto di Steve Rocco la Foundation Skateboards. Per i primi due anni il marchio Foundation veniva distribuito dalla Roccos World Industries, ma nel 1991 Swank decise di fare un’inversione di rotta, prendendo lui stesso in mano le redini della baracca e arruolando un vero team di street skater. Oggi la Foundation Skateboards è distribuita dalla Tum Yeto Distribution della quale fanno parte anche colossi come la Toy Machine, la Dekline e la Habitat.

Foundation: video e grafiche fuori dal comune

Negli anni Swank si è sempre dato da fare per mantenere alto il nome della Foundation nella scena skateboarding internazionale e per farlo ha messo sul mercato tavole dalle grafiche super originali e pubblicato video skate del calibro di "WTF! ", "That’s Life" e "Nervous Breakdown", che hanno letteralmente lasciato il segno.
